My name is Pat Gaskill, and I'm interested in starting my own dog services business. I got the idea from my neighbor and landlady: she has an elderly Min Pin who eliminates on her kitchen floor while she's at work, and when I was on vacation I pottied him half way through her work day. She came home to a clean floor, and no eliminations in her yard. I take her dogs for walks too because she has bad knees and can't exercise her dogs like they need to be. I have a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd/Black Lab mix who is in agility right now. I am a student of Penn Foster, in their Dog Obedience certification program, and I work with my dog, Buddy. I would like to raise a clientele in Greensburg for people who would like to offer their dogs and puppies exercise, play time, bath time and general needs services. Also, I will pick up droppings from the yard and house if needed. I charge $15 per 30-minute visit, plus an additional $5 for basic training for sit, down and stay. My schedule is Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some folks start work early or come home late, meanwhile your pup can have their walk and eliminations picked up so you can come home and enjoy your exercized pet. I can't do sitting for overnights because I have a managerie of pets here. I don't do weekends either because I work for Blue Buffalo at Petco and Petsmart then.
